Round Table “Legal Protection in the Field of Public Procurement and Challenges in Practice”

In cooperation with the “EU Public Finance Management Facility” Project, the Administrative Court participated in the successful completion of the Round Table entitled: “Legal Protection in the Field of Public Procurement and Challenges in Practice”, which was held in Belgrade on January 27th, 2026. The Round Table was attended by the judges of the Administrative Court, representatives of the Public Procurement Office and the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures and it was aimed at improving cooperation, efficiency and quality in the public procurement procedures.

The President of the Administrative Court, Judge Radojka Marinković, addressed the participants in the introductory speech, emphasizing the significance of legal matter of public procurements and harmonized practice at all institutional levels within a unique legal system. She emphasized that, introduction of new standards from a complex legal system, such as that of the EU, into the national legal system, opens a series of different questions in the application of implemented provisions of the European law in the national framework. Representative of the “EU Public Finance Management Facility” Project and EU expert in the field of public procurement Mr. Dariuš Piasta spoke on selected decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union related to the grounds for exclusion, subcontracting and amendments to contracts after their award, as well as trade secret and other exceptions to the basic principle of transparency. The Round Table was attended by judges of the Administrative Court, including Maja Panić, Jasminka Vukašinović, Zorana Brajović, Katarina Pecić Ilić and Snežana Bjelanović.
